Two sides that made good starts, only to falter subsequently, face each-other in Valladolid on Sunday.
Despite defeats in their last two outings, against Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, Vallecano Coach Paco Jemez is confident ahead of the tie.
“They have made a good start to the season,” Jemez told a press conference. “Valladolid are a team that want to play and can play. If you try to press them and stop their play, they can hit you on the counter-attack.
“Their Coach forces them to play football. It's a team with good technical ability, but let me make this clear – they won't have much of the ball because we are going to create problems.
“We can win. We are in high spirits and things are going well. The defeat against Real Madrid was no problem. These things happen. We have to accept it and focus on this game."
Kick-off: Sunday, September 30, 2:00pm (UK time)
