Real Sociedad vs Granada

Jagoba Arrasate wants Real Sociedad to push hard for a top five finish this season and says a win over Granada is vital to that.

La Real host Granada at Anoeta tonight and go into the game three points behind fifth-place Sevilla, who come out on top on the head-to-head record between the teams.

Sevilla took a 1-0 victory at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in March while the first meeting of the season ended in a 1-1 draw.

Marca reports Arrasate saying at his pre-match Press conference that Sociedad have to take as many points as possible.

“We have to get a lot of points and for that we need to win,” he added.

“It won’t be easy. [Granada] have very dangerous attackers and they’re quick.”

Arrasate was asked about the future of Carlos Vela but declined to speak about the matter.

“The only concern is his performance and that’s very good,” the Coach said.
