Espanyol boss Mauricio Pochettino hasn't hidden the fact that this trip to Real Sociedad has been the only thing on his mind this week.
Even when preparing for Thursday's Copa del Rey meeting with Sevilla, the trainer admitted he was focused on Anoeta.
“We can't help thinking that on Sunday we have a very important match. We must try to manage the group in order to put out two line-ups that are competitive.”
Taking four points from their last two fixtures has given the Parakeets a morale boost but they still have work to do to climb out of the relegation zone. A win on Sunday will take them to within a point of 14th placed Sociedad.
However Philippe Montanier's side have lost only once at Anoeta this season, against high flying Atletico Madrid.
