Real Socieded boss Philippe Montanier has received the dreaded vote of confidence ahead of the Basque derby against Athletic Bilbao.
President Jokin Aperribay called for the Frenchman to be given 'patience and confidence' after last weekend's loss to Levante, La Real's third loss in three away games this season.
If there's tension at Anoeta however, Montanier's compatriot Antoine Griezmann isn't feeling it.
“We must focus on ourselves and not think about whether they will be in form or not. Athletic are not keeping me awake.”
“I am thrilled to facing another derby,” says Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz. “No one is satisfied with how our season has started, but I guess Sociedad think the same. Going to Anoeta is always frightening.”
