Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo

Real Madrid must overcome a injury nightmare in defence against Celta Vigo on Saturday night.

Not one, not two, but three Real fullbacks were struck down with injuries on international duty, Marcelo, Fabio Coentrao and Alvaro Arbeloa, meaning a cobbled together back-line will take the field at the Bernabeu.

It is far from an ideal situation for Los Blancos as they try to climb higher than fifth in La Liga and reduce Barcelona's eight point lead, but they will still be heavy favourites against Celta, who have lost all three of their away games.

“Everyone dreams of playing at a venue like the Bernabeu from when they were a child,” remarked Los Celestes striker Iago Aspas.

“We don't fear anyone but we are aware that Madrid, along with Barca, are the best team in La Liga.”

Kick off: Saturday October 21, 5.00 (BST)
