Rayo Vallecano vs Real Zaragoza

Real Zaragoza will go on level on points with Rayo Vallecano if they can upset their hosts at the Campo de Vallecas on Monday night.

A match between two fairly well matched sides, the only thing that can be said about this one with any degree of confidence is that it probably won’t end in a draw. The Franjirojjos and Blanquillos have both drawn just one of their 14 fixtures to date.

Rayo striker Leo Baptistao, who has had to deny that he’s off to Atletico Madrid in January, respects the threat posed by Manolo Jimenez’s visitors.

“They have a good team, it will be a difficult game. Home and away we are having good results, and we want to get as high up the table as we can.”

Kick off: Monday December 10, 8.30 (BST)
