Osasuna vs Levante

Osasuna face a tough task to move off the bottom of the Primera Liga when they host an in-form Levante in Pamplona.

Los Rojillos have only mustered one point from their five Primera Liga outings so far, however on-loan Real Sociedad striker Joseba Llorente is confident going into this weekend's clash.

“If we look at the statistics for Sunday then everything is against us. So we have to be calm and rest our minds for the game against Levante," said Llorente.

“But, we are not afraid of this game either because we are going to win and we are going to move up to four points. That is the mentality I have spoken about before.

“The conclusions from the other games played have already been taken and it is no use looking at the table because we know we only have one point. If you look, you lose self-esteem.”

Levante, currently in a comfortable ninth place, level with Real Madrid, know to expect a lot of fight from their opponents.

“They have just a point, if they lose then everything will be even more difficult for them," Pape Diop told reporters. "They will be going out to the death, but we know what we are going to be up against there.

“I saw the game they played against Barcelona. They played a great game and I know that it is very difficult to play there. We intend to follow our dynamic, we will try to win and to move above the relegation zone.”

The Senegalese summer signing did however target the fixture for the Valencia outfit to get their first away win of the season.

“At home it is very important to make it a fortress, but you also have to take points off of teams away from home.

“We have to do more damage away from home and be more aggressive on the road. We defend well, but we have to be more aggressive.

“Obafemi Martins will help us a lot, in terms of how the team will play. He will help make us more dangerous in attack.”

Kick-off: Sunday, September 30, 4:00pm (UK time)
