Mallorca vs Real Zaragoza

Real Mallorca will draw level on points with Real Zaragoza if they can finally end their winless run on Sunday night.

The islanders haven’t won any of their last eight La Liga matches, a run stretching back to late September. They did receive a little pick-me-up in midweek, progressing to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey with an away goals win over Deportivo La Coruna.

Zaragoza had a similarly nervy Copa victory, besting Granada on away goals after a 2-1 defeat at Los Carmenes.

“We knew that we had to suffer so as to progress,” said Coach Manolo Jimenez.

Los Blanquillos have a dire record away to Mallorca to overcome, having lost all of their last six visits with an aggregate score of 14-5.

Kick off: Sunday December 2, 8.00 (BST)
