Osasuna aim to recover from two defeats in four days to Valencia away to Getafe, but the Azulones are 10 points ahead.
Los Rojillos lost 1-0 to Valencia last Saturday then 2-0 to the same opposition in the Copa del Rey on Tuesday.
“We must have patience,” noted Coach Jose Luis Mendilibar. “The difference these things make in a game is striking. If you get a goal, you play more relaxed.”
Getafe are unbeaten in four in La Liga but also tasted Copa defeat, going down 3-0 to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
“We threw the tie in the final 15 minutes, I do not understand what we did at the end of the game,” said an exasperated Luis Garcia Plaza.
Kick off: Saturday December 15, 3.00 (BST)
