Espanyol vs Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo Coach Juan Carlos Unzue has called on his team to ‘find the right balance’ between defence and attack ahead of the clash with Espanyol.

The Galicians travel to the RCDE Stadium on Monday night having registered their first points of the season last week in a 1-0 win over Alaves.

However, the former Barcelona assistant is calling on his side to strike the right balance between providing an attacking threat and defensive stability.

“We have to find the right balance,” Unzue told his pre-match press conference.

“Our main objectives are to keep possession and be aggressive with our pressing but our aim is also to keep cleansheets – don’t forget I was a goalkeeper!

“Espanyol will be a tough opponent – Quique’s teams are always extremely organised and well-drilled as a unit and now this season I believe they are more daring in attack.

“Emre Mor? He still has work to do to get up to full fitness but again he will be involved and we will try to integrate him into the side.

“Radoja will be unavailable for us, he has not been training due to discomfort in his knee so he won’t be involved.

“Guidetti has been training well with us but it is one thing on the training and another performing on the pitch in a competitive game.”
