Celta Vigo look for their third consecutive home win against a Sevilla side still dwelling on their controversial loss to Barcelona.
Newly promoted Vigo go into the Friday night kick-off at Balaidos 14th after last weekend's 2-1 loss at Granada.
Sevilla are 4th following their 3-2 defeat at home to Barca. Combative midfielder Gary Medel was issued with a two match ban on Wednesday for his sending off in that game, but the Rojiblancos have included him in their squad nonetheless, so confident are they that their appeal will succeed.
“Objectively and from a legal and technical standpoint,” I have to be optimistic,” commented President Jose Maria del Nido.
“Medel is the player that gives balance to Sevilla,” says Celta defender Gustavo Cabral. “I think without him they will suffer greatly.”
Kick off: Friday October 5, 8.30 (BST)
