The 2014 World Cup draws ever closer, and all eyes will be on Vicente Del Bosque as he narrows down his La Roja squad from 30 to 23 names in time for the tournament. The Salamanca-born Coach named his provisional squad in mid-May, and now has until the end of the month to tell seven players the bad news.
The likes of Koke, Dani Carvajal and Fernando Llorente have been named by the tactician, but other names, such as Isco, Inigo Martinez and Diego Lopez will feel themselves unfortunate to be left at home.
Here, Football Espana have looked at some of those players who are on the brink of going to Brazil this summer, and some of those who will feel aggrieved to be watching the tournament from their sofas.
