Jose Luis Mendilibar admitted that he was gutted to concede a last minute goal, whereas Gregorio Manzano thought his men deserved more than a point.

Pedro Geromel scored a 92nd minute equaliser to ensure the game ended 1-1 at ONO Estadi, and the Rojillos boss has claimed that three points were there for the taking.

“It looked as if we had all three points right up until the end,” he told a Press conference.

“It was a shame that the equaliser came right at the end. Indecision has caused us to draw, but these things can happen.

“We looked comfortable in the first half, whereas in the second period they played a slightly more direct game.

“But we created chances and perhaps should have won the game.”

The 56-year-old meanwhile, who was in charge of his first game since taking over from Joaquin Caprros, had mixed feelings at the final whistle.

“I think we deserved something more from the game,” he told a Press conference. “Three points would have meant getting something over a direct rival.

“But we couldn't get the win we wanted, so we have to be pleased with the point we did get.

“We are in a situation where we want to express ourselves as a team, but the boys are playing with so much pressure.

“Hopefully though, in time, we can develop more and more as a group.”
