Real Madrid and Barcelona linked with Milan Skriniar

Real Madrid and Barcelona are considering a summer move for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar next summer.

The La Liga giants have been linked with defensive reinforcements, as club captain Sergio Ramos nears the end of his career, while Barcelona are having concerns of their own at the back.

Samuel Umtiti's injury problems have continued at the start of the season, with Ernesto Valverde reportedly concerned about the French international's long term future at the Camp Nou.

Skriniar was linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United in the summer, however according to reports in Marca, Los Blancos are now more likely to be challenged for the Slovakian international by the domestic arch rivals.

Reports in Italy over the summer claimed the the Milanese club rejected a €60M bid for the centre back, prior to signing Harry Maguire from Leicester City, however a strong start to the Serie A season means his value has increased further.

Antonio Conte is unlikely to part ways with the 24-year old former Sampdoria man for a fee below €75M in 2020.
