Spanish FA agree new kit deal with Adidas

The Spanish FA (RFEF) have confirmed a new kit deal with Adidas to remain as the official kit supplier for the Spanish national team.

German manufacturers Adidas have made the Spanish national team's kit for the last 35 years, one of the longest running kit deals in European international football.

However the partnerships was thrown into doubt back in May, when the RFEF announced they were looking to source a new supplier for future kit production.

Adidas responded to this by opening legal proceedings against the RFEF, as they looked to secure a continuation of the deal.

However, as reports in Marca state, those differences appeared to have been resolved between the two parties, with the RFEF announcing a new contract with Adidas – stretching up to 2030.

Adidas have now launched a new kit for the Spain team, which they will wear for the first time in the Euro 2020 qualification double header against Romania and Malta next week.
