Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal was full of praise for skipper Lionel Messi after his starring display in their 5-1 win over Real Valladolid.
Messi netted two goals, and assisted two more, including one for Vidal, and the Chile international was lost for words to describe Messi's brilliance at full time.
"Messi always surprises us.
"Every day in training, he amazes us with what he can do.
"He is from another planet, he really is.
"I have no words to describe him."
Vidal also called on his Barcelona team mates not to rest on their position in the coming weeks, with more to come from the Catalan side in the coming weeks.
"We must keep on improving.
"The Champions League win over Slavia Prague boosted confidence, but it was not a complete performance.
"We have some difficult games coming up, and we must be prepared to improve our level."
Ernesto Valverde's side had last weekend off, following the postponement of the El Clasico clash with Real Madrid at the Camp Nou, but they face a busy run of games in November.
They have La Liga games away at Levante and Leganes, at home to Celta Vigo, and crunch Champions League ties with Slavia Prague and Borussia Dortmund.
