Real Madrid open to Erling Haaland move

Real Madrid are considering a move for Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Haaland at the end of the 2019-20 season.

Haaland has caught the eye in his first full season for the Austrian side, after joining from Norwegian side Molde in January 2018, scoring 15 goals in 12 games in all competitions.

The 19-year old is reported to fit with Real Madrid's developing policy of signing Europe's leading young players, according to Diario AS, after signing Rodrygo Goes and Luka Jovic in the summer.

Real Madrid are expected to keep an eye on Haaland's form this season, with the UK-born Norwegian international reported to be available for a fee of €12M this summer.

However there could be competition for his signature, with his agent Mino Raiola hinting that he rejected a move to Juventus in the summer, and also that Manchester United have made enquiries about him.
