Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has hailed his side's battling qualities following their 2-0 win at Getafe.
Goals from Luis Suarez and a first club goal for Junior Firpo secured a vital La Liga win for Valverde's side as they look to chase down league leaders Real Madrid.
Valverde has spoken in recent weeks about the need to win more away games, and perform against sides that set up to frustrate the Catalan side.
"After some recent poor performances away form home we needed to win.
"The players worked hard to get result, and I am pleased with that.
"It is always tough to come here (to Getafe), but it important to perform and get a result.
"If you want to win La Liga, you have to come and win away at hard to beat opponents."
Valverde also praised striker Luis Suarez, who has come in for some recent criticism, following his return from injury – with the former Athletic Bilbao boss hailed the Uruguayan's perseverance in getting the opening goal in Madrid.
