La Liga chief Javier Tebas is looking forward to a fruitful partnership with BKT as the tyre manufacturer “shares our ambition to continue international growth.”
Football Espana attended a special Press conference at Atletico Madrid’s home of Wanda Metropolitano on Thursday, where Tebas took to the stage to promote BKT as La Liga’s new Official Global Partner for the next three years.
“Football’s a platform for a global brand like BKT to grow, and BKT helps La Liga grow in the field of agricultural tyres,” he said.
“La Liga’s global exposure offers a great platform for brands to enter new territories and increase their audience.
“BKT shares our ambition to continue international growth and we hope to continue this work together for the next three seasons.”
The Indian company is the latest overseas enterprise to join forces with the Spanish top tier as it aims to break the Premier League’s grip on foreign markets.
La Liga is chiefly sponsored by the bank Santander and also has deals in place with the likes of Puma, EA Sports, Budweiser and Unilever through its Revona/Sure line of deodorants.
