Lucas Alcaraz was the last Granada Coach to defeat Barcelona but believes that record could end during this weekend’s clash.
The Andalusian club are back in the top flight after two seasons in the second tier and have seven points from their opening four games - winning each of their last two outings to nil.
They welcome a Blaugrana side who have just one point from their first two away games of the campaign and Alcaraz, who masterminded the 2014 victory, is eyeing another upset.
“I do not like that my record has lasted so long, and it will be broken very soon,” Alcaraz explained on Radio Marca.
“I would not like to be in Barcelona’s position because they played a tough match on Tuesday and are now coming to play a team who are in form and at home.
“Granada have a very strong team this season and have the possibilities of beating Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid…everyone.
“They are very good both on an individual and a collective level.”
