Atletico Madrid manager Diego Siemone has hailed Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of their Champions League clash.
Ronaldo netted a hat trick against Los Rojiblancos in the last 16 stage last season, to eliminate them from the competition and continue his fantastic record against Simeone's side.
Ronaldo scored 16 goals against Atletico Madrid in his nine year spell at arch rivals Real Madrid, including goals in the 2014 Champions League final and a hat trick in the 26-17 semi finals.
"It is difficult to prepare for a player like Cristiano.
"He is an animal in front of goal.
"He has an incredible record and he is always difficult to control in any goal scoring situation.
"He has made us suffer in the past, but sometimes it is our turn to lose and other times we can win.
"We have to face Juventus with hope and put in a complete performance."
Atletico Madrid picked up their first defeat of the season at the weekend, as they lost 2-0 away at Real Sociedad in La Liga action.
