Antoine Griezmann calls for patience in MSN partnership

FC Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann has called for more time to click with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

The French international has barely played with the duo so far this season, despite being mooted as the 'MSG' partnership following his €120M move from Atletico Madrid this summer.

Suarez and Messi have both struggled with injury so far in 2019-20, with the former injured in the opening day defeat at Athletic Bilbao, before returning from the bench against Valencia CF last weekend and starting against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Messi came off the bench against the Bundesliga side, as FC Barcelona's attacking trio struggled to create chances.

However, the former Real Sociedad man is not concerned by the lack of game time between them at this stage.

"I have been at the club for just two months.

"I am still getting used to playing here, and the roles and movements of my teammates.

"Also, I am still adjusting to playing with Suarez, Messi and Dembele, as they are with me.

"But I am confident that we are moving in the right direction as a team."

Griezmann has netted twice for Ernesto Valverde's side so far this season, alongside Suarez and teenage striker Ansu Fati.
