Real Madrid keen on January move for Christian Eriksen

Real Madrid are considering a January move for Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The La Liga giants were heavily linked with a move for the Danish international in the summer, after he indicated that he wanted to leave the North London club before the start of the 2019-20 campaign.

However, no move materialised, and Eriksen had looked likely to move on at the end of of his contract in June 2020, but according to reports in Marca, Real Madrid could reignite their interest in January.

Tottenham were reportedly demanding a fee in the region of €100M this summer, despite Eriksen's contract situation, and Real Madrid were unwilling to pay that much after a summer of spending.

A January deal could involve a pre-contract agreement for June 2020, or a move for a reduced fee.
