Ansu Fati stars as FC Barcelona put FIVE past Valencia CF

Ansu Fati marked his first FC Barcelona start with a goal, as they beat Valencia CF 5-2 at the Camp Nou.

Fati caught the eye in the 2-2 draw away a Osasuna CF, becoming the club's youngest ever La Liga goal scorer, and he grabbed his chance with the first team with a powerful finish after two minutes.

The 16-year old then turned provider five minutes later, to tee up Frenkie De Jong for his first goal for the Catalan side to slot home from eight yards.

Albert Celades endured a night mare start as the new Valencia CF boss, but his side did rally before the break, with Kevin Gameiro finishing from just inside the box from Rodrigo Moreno's neat pass.

However, FC Barcelona came back out on the front foot after the break, and defender Gerard Pique tapped in from close range, following a howler from former team mate Jasper Cillessen, in the visitors goal.

Luis Suarez came off the bench on the hour mark, and he netted within 60 seconds of coming on, curling home from 20 yards from De Jong's square pass.

The Uruguayan international grabbed a second with 15 minutes to go, arriving into the box to convert Antoine Griezmann's chipped pass, after Ivan Rakitic's effort had been cleared.

Valencia CF looked short of ideas in the second half, although substitute Max Gomez did net a late consolation for Celades' side in added time.
