Bayern Munich ‘in love with little wizard’ Philippe Coutinho

Bayern Munich have already fallen in love with on loan playmaker Philippe Coutinho, who has been described as a ‘little wizard’.

The Brazil international joined the German champions on a temporary arrangement with an €8.5m loan fee, while they will also have a non-compulsory purchase option of €120m throughout the agreement.

The former Liverpool star had cut a frustrated figure for the Catalan club last season, finding starting opportunities limited at the club and struggling to find consistent form.

The Brazilian only joined the Camp Nou in January 2018 for a deal worth up to €160m but the Blaugrana have now cut their losses.

“He is still not 100 percent, he probably needs more games because he joined the team too late. I'm sure that in a few weeks we will meet the world-class footballer who is,” teammate Benjamin Pavard told Sky, as cited by Marca.

“He is a little wizard and we have already fallen in love with him, he is disreet and pleasant alongside being a very good player.”
