Atlético Madrid lead the way as the transfer kings of Europe, say AS and Transfermarkt.
According to their findings, the Wanda Metropolitano side are the number one team in Europe in terms of transfer recuperations with €313,1 million euros in their favour.
Once the summer transfer market closed, a study was undertaken to show how team fared in terms of player purchases and, in this case, player sales.
And it was Diego Simeone's side who came out on top of the study, thanks in large to the sale of French striker Antonie Griezmann to Barcelona.
Atlético are a full €107 million euros ahead of the next team in the list, Dutch outfit Ajax, with €205.75 million euros.
The top three is rounded out by Italian Serie A champions with €201.5 million euros.
Positions in the third and fourth catagory belong to fourth placed Benfica with €192 millon euros and in fifth place is La Liga champions Barcelona, who have recuperated €156.4 million euros this summer.
In terms of the top ten, the only other Spanish team appearing in the list is Real Madrid, who feature in ninth place with €130 million euros to their name.
