Colombian international James Rodriguez misses out with a calf injury, and he is replaced by Lucas Vazquez as Los Blancos take on Villarreal CF tonight.
Zidane also recalls Luca Jovic and Ferland Mendy in place of Isco and Marcelo.
Villareal manager Javi Calleja makes just one change to his side following their 2-1 defeat at neighbours Levante.
