Real Madrid’s Keylor Navas to sign for PSG

Real Madrid goal keeper Keylor Navas will join Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer window closes on September 2nd.

The Costa Rica international has been linked with a move away form the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, however both he and manager Zinedine Zidane have since indicated that he will remain at the club for the 2019-20 campaign.

However, according to reports in Marca this weekend, PSG are set to reignite their interest in the 32-year old and will bring him in on a free transfer before the window closes.

The reports states that the French giants have agreed to match Navas' salary package at Real Madrid, with a three year deal and an annual wage of €6M.

Alongside the exit of Navas, PSG will also loan Alphonse Areola to Real Madrid for the 2019-20 season.

Areola will take up his role as back up to Zidane's first choice stopper Thibaut Courtois, with Navas taking over as No. 1 at the Parc des Princes – with with teenager Marcin Bulka as his deputy.
