Antoine Griezmann stars as FC Barcelona put five past Real Betis

Antoine Griezmann scored twice on his home debut for FC Barcelona, in a 5-2 win over Real Betis.

The French international scored a goal in each half as Ernesto Valverde's side cruised by their opponents in front of an expectant home crowd at the Camp Nou this evening.

Summer signing Nabil Fekir shocked the hosts as he put Real Betis in front on 15 minutes, with a powerful finish, following a neat pass from Loren Moron.

Griezmann put FC Barcelona back in the game just before the break, volleying home Sergi Roberto's right wing cross.

The former Atletico Madrid striker put the home side ahead five minutes after the break, curling home a spectacular effort from the edge of the box, with Real Betis goal keeper Dani Martin helpless to stop it.

Carles Perez shook off two earlier misses to bag his first senior goal for the club on 56 minutes, slotting home from inside the area.

Defender Jordi Alba made it 4-1 shortly after, slamming home on the overlap from Sergio Busquets through ball, before substitute Arturo Vidal netted a fifth on 77 minutes, from Griezmann's ball.

Moren netted a late consolation goal for the away side with 19 minutes to go, slamming home from 20 yards from substitute Joaquin's lay off.
