Zinedine Zidane makes three changes from their 4-1 win at Celta Vigo last weekend, with Luka Modric suspended and Vinicius Junior and Alvaro Odriozola dropped.
That means a first club start since 2017 for James Rodriguez, alongside Dani Carvajal and Isco.
Real Valladolid boss Sergio Gonzalez also makes three changes from the side that beat Real Betis last weekend, with Pedro Porro, Enes Unal and Federico San Emeterio replacing Antonito, Ruben Alcaraz and Sandro Ramirez.
