Lionel Messi could return to the FC Barcelona squad for the home game against Real Betis on August 25.
The club captain missed their opening day defeat to Athletic Bilbao as he continues his comeback from a calf injury and international duty at the Copa America with Argentina.
Manager Ernesto Valverde confirmed during his pre-match press conference that the 32-year old had returned to full training ahead of the Camp Nou clash with Rubi's side.
However, Valverde added that Messi is still lacking in match fitness, and that he will make a late decision on his inclusion.
He did confirm that both Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele will both be out of action until at least mid-September, after the pair were injured in the season opener at San Mames.
