Philippe Coutinho will become the best player in the Bundesliga, according to former team mate Marko Grujic.
The Brazilian international is set to seal a season-long deal to the Bundesliga champions in the coming days, with FC Barcelona open to letting him leave the Camp Nou.
The 27-year old has endured a mixed run of form following his move to Catalonia from Liverpool, however his former Reds team mate Grujic believes a move to Germany will be the boost he needs.
"It is a big opportunity for the whole Bundesliga that we get the chance to see Coutinho, he told an interview with Bild.
"He is a special player that is capable of crazy tricks and I enjoyed every minute of training with him at Liverpool.
"He will be the best footballer in Germany by far.
"Coutinho will be welcomed in Germany and hopefully he can show his talents here."
Neither FC Barcelona or Bayern Munich have confirmed the deal at this stage, however he is expected to complete a medical in the coming days, with a deal announced by August 21.
