Getafe’s Jack Harper joins Alcorcon on loan

Getafe midfielder Jack Harper has joined Segunda Division side Alcorcon on a season-long loan.

The 23-year old joined Jose Bordalas' side in July, after agreeing a pre-contract deal in January, from Malaga.

The former Scottish U21 international, who spent time at Real Madrid and Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion as a youth team player, before returning to Spain and making 29 appearances for Juan Muniz's side.

Getafe have not released details of the loan deal, however it is unlikely to include a purchase option, with Bordalas keen for him to gain more first team experience ahead of the the 2020-21 campaign.

Harper is expected to replace Juan Munoz, who departed for La Liga side Leganes earlier this summer.
