FC Barcelona have rejected the possibility of paying a transfer fee to bring Neymar back to the Camp Nou.
According to reports in Marca, the La Liga holders have informed the French club that they are keen to see the Brazilian international back at the club, however they are only interested in a player-swap deal.
The Catalan side are widely reported to have had an exchange deal involving Philippe Coutinho rejected by the Ligue 1 champions, however Ernesto Valverde's side have now made clear that is the only offer they will be making.
PSG are keen to recover the majority of the world record fee of €222m they paid for the 28-year old back in 2017, and have indicated they will listen to offers in the region of €200m.
Real Madrid have now reportedly entered the race to sign the former Santos superstar, with club president Florentino Perez willing to sanction the deal if it is proved to be financially viable.
