Real Mallorca keen on Atletico Madrid’s Victor Mollejo

La Liga new boys Real Mallorca are considering a loan move for Atletico Madrid forward Victor Mollejo.

Mollejo, who played a key role in Spain's U19 European Championship win last month, is likely to be loaned out by Diego Simeone to gain first team experience – with his opportunities likely to be limited this season following the arrivals of Joao Felix and Ivan Saponjic.

According to reports in Diario de Mallorca, the Balearic club are keen to bring the 18-year old to the Estadi de Son Moix, as they prepare for their first top flight season since 2012-13.

Atletico Madrid are likely to block a purchase option as part of the deal, with Simeone a big fan of Mollejo, and the club are confident that he wil become a future first team regular.

Mollejo made four first team appearances for Atletico Madrid last season, all as a substitute.
