FC Barcelona have agreed a deal for Real Betis defender Juior Firpo, according to reports on Sky Sports.
The defending La Liga champions have been linked with a move for the 22-year old left back throughout the summer, however Real Betis have so far rejected their advances.
The Spanish U21 international has stated that he was aware of interest in him from Ernesto Valverde's side, but nothing had been confirmed during the pre-season period.
That now appears to have changed, with Rubi's side accepting a bid int he region of €18m, with €7m in performance related add ons, having initially stated they would not accept a fee lower than €20m.
Valverde has been open on the subject of signing a new left back to provide cover for Jordi Alba, and he now looks to be on the verge of securing his primary target.
