Valencia consider Juan Cuadrado bid

Valencia are monitoring Juan Cuadrado's situation with Serie A giants Juventus.

According to reports in Calciomercato.it this weekend, Marcelino is considering a bid for the former Chelsea forward – who has been told by new boss Maurizio Sarri that he is not part o his first team plans for the 2019-20 season.

The Colombian international was sidelined for the majority of last season due to two serious injuries, however he 31-year old now looks to be moved onto the fringes with the Italian champions bringing in Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey to boost their midfield options.

The versatile forward has consistently stated that he wants to remain with Juventus, and see out his contract, however with first team opportunities set be limited this season he could reassess his options.

Cuadrado only just under 12 months remaining on his contract in Turin, and the Old Lady are reportedly open to letting him leave before the start of the new season.

Valencia have been busy in the transfer market so far this summer, with over €50m spent on Jasper Cillessen, Maxi Gomez, Denis Cheryshev and Manu Vallejo, but they could secure a deal for Cuadrado for a €15m fee.
