Alaves have completed the signing of Sevilla wing-back Aleix Vidal on a season-long loan deal, it has been confirmed by the club.
An official statement from the Basque club on Sunday said that only a medical was missing but all agreements have been signed on the temporary switch.
It has been reported that there will be no purchase option included in the transaction for the player, who had previously been linked with a summer switch to Celta Vigo.
Vidal returned to Sevilla from Barcelona last summer in a €8.5m deal but started just five matches in La Liga and now appears to form part of the mass exodus from the Andalusian club this summer.
Three years ago, the former Almeria player joined the Blaugrana in a €15m deal from Sevilla but struggled to win regular game-time at the Camp Nou.
The versatile player is said to have been extremely keen on the move as it would appear to offer him a greater chance of first team football ahead of the new campaign.
