Barcelona tighten links with Vissel Kobe

Barcelona have confirmed they have signed up to an agreement to strengthen their ties with Japanese club Vissel Kobe.

The Blaugrana defeated the outfit 2-0 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday and faced three of their former players – Andres Iniesta, Sergi Samper and David Villa.

The business partnership agreement is said by Marca “to tighten the links in sports, business, marketing and business matters” between both clubs.

It is also said that it will lead to an exchange program between players “so that the clubs can test their abilities in different environments and give the opportunity to players to develop and improve their skills.”

The two clubs will share reports and analysis on the players and the team – the Blaugrana will lend their advanced techniques to Vissel, who in exchange will offer the Catalan giants their insight on Asian markets.

Vissel will also work to promote the new generation of young talents by introducing new training methods in their training categories and through expeditions to Barcelona to modernise their training.
