Marcos Llorente will miss the Madrid derby against former club Real Madrid on Saturday through suspension following a red card.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder, who joined the club from Los Blancos in a €40m deal this summer, was sent-off against Guadalajara on Tuesday.
Atleti won the match on penalties following a scoreless draw but Llorente will now miss their next game – against Madrid on Saturday – having been dismissed for violent conduct.
Diario AS outline how the midfielder was comforted by captain Jan Oblak as he made his way from the pitch following a reckless piece of play.
