Thomas Tuchel wants Neymar to stay at PSG

Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has spoken out on speculation linking Neymat with a return to FC Barcelona.

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a second spell at the Camp Nou, after moving to the French capital for a world record €220m deal back in 2017, however he has reportedly grown frustrated with life in Paris.

However the former Borussia Dortmund boss has stated his preference for the 27-year old to stay with the Ligue 1 champions.

"Every coach wants Neymar in their team, and so do I.

"He is our player as it stands, and I am calm about the situation.

"Neymar remains part of our unique plans for next season, and

"But in football, you must take things day by day, and tomorrow Neymar will train with us."

PSG Sporting Director Leonardo echoed Tuchel's comments, that there was no update on Neymar's future.

"There has been no change with Neymar and no concrete bid has been recived for him.

"Neymar is with us, and he remains a PSG player."

Neymar is currently recovering from an injury which ruled him out of Brazil's success in the Copa America, and he is yet to feature in their pre season preparations.
