Manu Vallejo to leave Valencia on loan

Valencia midfielder Manu Vallejo is set to leave the club on another loan.

Vallejo, 22, joined Los Che in February 2019 in a €5.5m deal, after catching the eye during his three seasons with Segunda Division side Cadiz between 2015 and 2018.

Marcelino agreed to allow Vallejo to remain on loan at the Andalucian club until the end of the season, as they looked to pushed for a promotion play-off spot from the second tier.

However, according to reports in Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Los Che are considering loaning him out again for the 2019-20 season, as they have no space in their first team squad.

Valencia want the Spanish U21 international to remain in La Liga, to see how well he adapts to top flight football, and Levante and Getafe are rumoured to be the two sides leading the race to sign him.
