PSG reject Neymar bid of money and two Barcelona players

Paris Saint-Germain rejected a Barcelona offer of €40m alongside Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic for star forward Neymar, say reports.

El Mundo Deportivo cite a report from L’Equipe which claims that the Blaugrana offered their two first-team players, alongside cash, for the transfer of the Brazilian.

Indeed, the French outlet leads its coverage on Wednesday with news of the offer, which is analyses as a ‘very bad deal’.

It is claimed by the report that the offer was not just verbal but was actually submitted in writing by the Catalan giants but adds that PSG are prioritising including Ousmane Dembele in part of the deal.

The Brazilian star has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona this summer as an exit from the French capital had appeared to be looking increasingly likely.

The former Santos forward left the Camp Nou for Paris in the summer of 2017 for a world record €222m fee, but reports continue to suggest he may be open to a departure from the Parisians.

Neymar has continually been linked with a return to Spain since his departure with the Catalan giants and Madrid said to be keen on a future transfer.
