Premier League trio want Dani Alves

Three Premier League sides are interested in bringing in Dani Alves on a free transfer this summer.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City are all interested in bringing in the former FC Barcelona defender, following his release from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in June 2019, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 36-year old enjoyed a fine campaign with Tite's Brazil at the Copa America, captained La Selecao to glory on home soil, in the absence of Neymar and being voted as the tournament's best player.

He stated ahead of the competition that he intended to continue playing, following the end of his time in France, however no decision would be made until the end of the Copa America.

City are hopeful that a reunion with Pep Guardiola will convince Alves to sign, and battle with Kyle Walker for the right back slot with the Premier League champions.

Arsenal will be without first choice right back Hector Bellerin until Christmas, as he recovers from knee surgery, while Tottenham are looking at their own options, following reports that Kieran Trippier may want to leave the club.
