Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale rules out China move

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has ruled out a move to Chinese football with a return to England ‘most likely’, according to reports in Spain.

Marca say that the Welsh forward has rejected the option of a move to the Far East, despite media speculation in recent weeks that a move could be formulated to the division.

The Welsh wizard turns 30 this month and is not part of Zinedine Zidane’s plans at the Bernabeu, while the Madrid fans have turned on him.

Bale has three years remaining on his Madrid contract and earns €17m annually, meaning that he has no desire to exit the club this summer despite the wishes of the hierarchy in the Spanish capital.

The Premier League transfer window closes on 8 August this summer and Madrid are now said to be working against this deadline to offload the player, who they are ‘increasingly desperate’ to transfer.

The former Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur winger scored 14 goals with six assists in 42 competitive games last season.
