Real Madrid to raise 200m in sales for Paul Pogba

Real Madrid are planning a fire-sale of players to raise close to €200m to land Manchester United star Paul Pogba, say Marca.

The Madrid-based daily lead their Wednesday coverage with the news that Madrid still are hopeful of a number of sales to raise funds for their audacious move.

Marcos Llorente, Raul de Tomas, Mateo Kovacic and Theo Hernandez have already been sold to raise in the region of €125m in player funds, but many more players are said to be vulnerable.

Los Blancos believe they can generate a further €200m in player sales with a number of more established first-team squad players said to be available for transfer.

James Rodriguez – who returned from a two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich this summer – is said to be one of a number of players who will raise funds, with Atletico Madrid and Napoli both keen.

Isco, Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez, Keylor Navas and Mariano Diaz are also said to be available for transfer, allowing Madrid to fund their desire for the French star.
