Atletico Madrid have confirmed that Joao Felix will be unveiled as their new player tomorrow at the Wanda Metropolitano.
The 19-year old, who had attracted attention from arch rivals Real Madrid at the end of the 2018-19 season, sealed a club record when he agreed a €126m move to the club.
Despite his huge transfer fee, Diego Simeone has also handed the highly-rated forward a seven-year contract at the club, as he looks to rebuild for the 2019-20 campaign.
Felix is the sixth signing that the Argentine boss has made this summer, following the departures of Diego Godin, Lucas Hernandez, Juanfran, Rodri, Gelson Martins and the likely exits of Filipe Luis and Antoine Griezmann before the season kicks off on August 18.
Marcos Llorente has moved from Real Madrid, while Felipe Monteiro and Hector Herrera have joined from Porto, with Nicolas Ibanez and Renan Lodi joining from San Luis and Athletico Paranaense.
