Dani Alves linked with FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid

Brazilian international Dani Alves is considering offers from former side FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

According to UOL Esporte, in his native Brazil, Alves has a number of offers oni the table for the new season, after becoming a free agent as his contract with French giants Paris Saint-Germain expired.

Alves has stated that no decision will be made on his future until after the Copa America is concluded, with Brazil playing Peru in the final on July 7, but a return to Spain does look the most likely.

Alves won six league titles with FC Barcelona, as well as four Champions League winners medals, and even at 36, manager Ernesto Valverde is widely reported to be open to offering the veteran defender a one-year deal.

Atletico Madrid are also interested due to their lack of cover at full back, following the departures of Juanfran and Lucas Hernandez, and the potential exit of Filipe Luis in the coming weeks.

Another one of Alves' former sides, Sevilla CF, are also keen to make him an offer to return to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, however they are third in the queue as it stands.
