Tottenham to bid €25m for Dani Olmo

Tottenham are considering a move for Spanish U21 international Dani Olmo, according to reports in Muchodeporte.

The Andalucian sports newspaper claims that Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring the 21-year old to the Premier League for the 2019-20 campaign, after an impressive showing in Spain's U21 European Championship title win last month.

Olmo, who plays his club football with Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb – after coming through the youth ranks with FC Barcelona – and they will demand a fee in the region of €25m to prise away the highly rated midfielder.

That is well within Tottenham's budget, despite their recent signing of French international Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon, and they are expected to make a formal bid ahead of the start of the Premier League season.

The report also states that Pochettino is still interested in Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, however the two clubs are still some way apart in their valuations, with Tottenham offering €68m, and Rubi's side holding out for his full release clause of €75m.
