Inter Milan keen on Arturo Vidal move

Inter Milan are considering a move for FC Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to reports in Italy.

Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport have confirmed that new Inter manager Antonio Conte wants to bring the combative Chile international to Serie A, ahead of the 2019-20 season.

Vidal, who is currently away on international duty at the 2019 Copa America, has consistently reiterated his desire to stay at the Camp Nou – where he played an important role in the 2018-19 La Liga title win.

However the arrival of Dutch international Frenkie De Jong at the club could push him further down the pecking order in Ernesto Valverde's side, and Conte is waiting to make an offer should he look to move on from Catalonia.

With two years still to run on his contract, Vidal will not be a cheap option, and FC Barcelona are likely to demand in the region of €25m for the 32-year old, if Conte wants to be reunited with the player he won three league titles with at Juventus.
